The MISSION

The Coder's Cantina Manifesto

Founded in 2021 as side project by Michael Wallner, the journey began with a simple yet profound goal: teaching web development on YouTube, focusing on Laravel, Vue.js, and AWS. As time unfolded, our mission expanded beyond tutorials; The Coder's Cantina has transformed into a living experiment, building web applications in public.

The core values? Open source everything, knowledge shared, community built.

Turning Dreams into Profitable Products

We're firm believers in the power of open source. But sustainability matters too. Coder's Cantina aims to turn projects into profitable products, proving that a thriving open-source ecosystem and financial success are not mutually exclusive. Sharing knowledge should be rewarding, both intellectually and financially.

Celebrating Failure

In a world often obsessed with success stories, Coder's Cantina takes pride in a positive failure culture. Every line of code, every bug conquered, it's all out there. We document not just victories, but the valuable lessons learned from setbacks. Failures become stepping stones, lessons etched into our code, celebrated as opportunities to grow.
